Willie Gallagher joined the Board of tie in February 2006, as a Non Executive Director, and was appointed Executive Chairman in June 2006. He brings with him extensive engineering and transport experience and has held senior roles within Scottish Power Group, the Strategic Rail Authority, Scottish Legal Aid Board, Lothian Buses and Transport Edinburgh Limited (TEL).
Willie is also a Board Member of the Scottish Legal Aid Board, a Non Executive Board Member of Lothian Buses and Transport for Edinburgh, and the Director of Touchdown Services Ltd, which provides Consultancy & Engineering services to the Utility and Construction sectors. |

Matthew Crosse

Matthew was appointed by tie in January 2007 as Project Director to take the project through the critical contract negotiations and mobilisation phase. He has 22 years experience of specialist technical, commercial, financial and leadership roles in rail projects.
Matthew has worked on a number of the most recent light rail projects in the UK, including those in Nottingham, Croydon and Midland Metro as well as on urban rail concessions in Spain and the Netherlands.
He was also a director of the Metronet JV during their successful London Underground PPP bids – the largest rail PPP deals to date. |

Colin McLauchlan

Colin joined tie in June 2006 and brings over 20 years of strategic, operational and project experience in HR and Industrial Relations. He previously held a number of senior roles within Bovis Lend Lease, Corus, British Steel and Lehrer McGovern International.
Colin was Industrial Relations Adviser at Canary Wharf and managed four years on the largest commercial construction project in the world, with a workforce of over 4,000, without a single day lost to industrial action.

Steven Bell
Engineering and Procurement Director |

Steven joined tie in September 2006 as Engineering and Procurement Director and he has responsibility for the successful management of the MUDFA (multi utilities diversions framework agreement) contract.
He is a chartered civil engineer with over 19 years experience in the rail and infrastructure sectors, including projects, frameworks and maintenance.
Steven has held a number of strategic, business and operational roles including Technical Director and Managing Director for a major rail infrastructure services contractor. |
